looks like a great time to me !!! congrats !!! better beef up those shocks on that truck carryin that load of birds !!! what kinda layout blinds yall use ?? thinkin bout buyin one but dont wanna pay an arm and a leg ... have ya had any hands on with the cabelas blind ??? was thinkin bout buyin one of those or the power hunter .... but not too sure bout the flip top ..... any suggestions ??

They are Final Approach layouts. Belong to a buddy of mine... I'm not quite sure of the exact model, but will check for you. In the meantime, here's a pic from today's duck hunt...



I tell you, that is one tired pup.

awesome duck hunt ...congrats .... im still waitin for the main season to open here and lined up the ark hunt ...will be headin there in january .... i appreciate any help on the layouts .... i dont have a cabelas here close enough to go there and take a look myself .... good luck and stay safe

This was the first time I've hunted in a layout so I can't help you with the others. That said, I liked these blinds very much. They were very easy to set up; opened up no problem when the birds came in. The only thing was I found that you are hidden better when you close the flap with the screen on it first. The only downside on that is you need to pop your head up a bit to see the steeper angles on either side when the birds are coming in. The day we hunted, the screens helped a great deal in keeping the glare from the rising sun out of our eyes.
