pattern master choke tubes
Has anyone tried them? I have heard some exceptional things about them-almost to good to be true if you know what I mean. I have heard people claim remarkable things about them but a friend tried one and patterned it and was not impressed. He sent his back. Was this a fluke or has anyone else actually tried patterning one?

RE: pattern master choke tubes
Dont get a patternmaster. If you are shooting fast loads, you'll want a non ported choke. Briley extended LM or Mod is a great choke to get.

RE: pattern master choke tubes
Here is my experience with Patternmaster. I got one for my BPS 10 and with 4 buck it is very deadly out to 60 yards on fox and coyotes. This is measured yardage and they are riddled with holes. The pattern on the board with T and F shot from the same gun is about 90% at 50 yards. The only problem is that such a tight pattern you better shoot enough to get your leads down pat or you are going to miss a lot till you get used it. I would highly recommend it but that is my opinion. Good luck!

RE: pattern master choke tubes
it is a great choke tube however, you need to find a load that shoots good out of it and you need to be a good shot because it holds the shot in a very tight pattern. You should be able to kill ducks out to 60yds with a 3.5" 12 guage.
