RE: choke tubes?
Keep in mind that steel patterns tighter than lead. You do not want to over choke. Mod. should be plenty.

RE: choke tubes?
i use a mod, but my brother always wants to hunt from the boat, and all those mallards steer very clear from us(about 90yds), so i need like a .30-06 or somethin!!!
Thank god this year i can hunt alone, i just gotta make a blind. |

RE: choke tubes?
I'm not sure now, lol, but it seems like most of yall said mod and thats what I've been using for ducks so I think I'll stick with that, thanks again every one. OH and camelcluch made a great point about steel shootin tighter, I had forgot about that so thanks! rtrudeau, I didn't know that Kent made #1 steel I'm gonna have to get me some of that!

RE: choke tubes?
One more thing, Steel is not soft like lead. If you over choke there is a chance of blowing up the the barrel of scoring. A mod. choke if about full for lead.
