Sunday night - Jumped a friends pond and shot 3 mallards, hen, young first year drake, and a beautiful drake...looked like a small goose.

I finally got some pictures on my computer to post. This one was from a hunt earlier in the season the dog is my buddies, who is behind the camera,11 year old black lab Sammy.

These next two pictures are a hunt that occured this last saturday with myself and a really old friend of mine on Big Stone lake on the MN SD border. I had to row about 1/2 a mile into the middle of teh lake to retrieve that middle Drake Bluebill, that was sure fun. The weird thing was this particualr day there wasn't a breath of wind and it was bluebird clear skys. The exact type of conditions you don't want for divers but for some reason they were flying all over the lake and we capitalized.

This last set of Pictures occured on Wednesday of last week. It was the first time that we hunted at our cabin on Big Stone andit turned out to be pretty productive. This time I was hunting with my dad and that old
 Friend of ours again.I know wecould've gotten our limit but we didn't want to run the risk of shooting another bluebill so we just quite. |

i called and they came not to sit down just a fly by so when they got as close as i thought they were going to get 2 shots rang out and 2 geese rained down.  By the way did i mention 1/2 of my geese were banded     Hope everyone else had a great day Hunt hard, Shoot straight, Kill clean, and apologize to no one. |
