RE: Favorite gun
I hunted for years with auto's that cost $700 and up and if you really hunt waterfowl you know the abuse your guns take (boat, dog, blind, gun slumped over your shoulder as you carry two dozens dekes across a ND field banging against it all the way) So since I'm not rich and can't stand to see my nice shotguns get all beat up I went to Wal Mart and bought a Charles Daly 12g auto for $289.
I beat this gun to no end and it still performs flawlessly. I did put a hi viz tru glu bead on the front, but other than that I think it is great. The more scratches and nicks it gets the better it looks. It's also great to hunt with people shooting the SBE's and fancy over and unders who make fun of my Wal Mart special.....butit's funny that thejoke is usually on themwhen the ducks start flying.
