I was just wondering if a Canadian goose can cross bred with a farm goose we have seen a few strange geese in are area have you seen them in your area let us know

Absolutely. I remember seeing a cross breed between (probably) a large white domestic and a Canada at Silver Lake in downtown Rochester, MN. Which by the way, is where the Giant Canada was first re-discovered by Dr. harold Hanson of the Illinois Dept. of Natural History in 1947 (I think). Giant's were thought to be extinct until then. Of the 2,500,000 Canada geese in NA in 1996, 1,000,000 were Giants (Branta canadensis maxima). What a recovery.

ya the birds sure can in the spring the canads will land in with the farm geese ..the single ones anyways,, so usually theres only a rare event or 2,, these birds are usually 8-10 lbs,, and often carry the orange feet of a farm goose,, and the white wings,,
