Boat or Blind?

What is better for duck hunting, staying in a blind or boating around. I have been duck hunting for3 years so you would think that i would know, but im 15 so i have to hunt with my brother and he never gives blind hunting a chance, because he always wants to boat. i have hunted from a blind once, with one of my friends and without my brother, and we saw about 5 times as many ducks that we would in the boat on the same lake. That might have just been luck, but if anyone can give me any advice, it would be appreciated.

Permanent blinds are usually set up on spots that are traditionally good and boats are usually best for the run and gun style.
