EJ-- where at in colorado? The front range has some amazing goose hunting (my folks live in severance- so you know where I try to make my wife go for christmas!).

You could go buy all that fancy ****, or you could go buy basic stuff...decoys, calls, gun, blind, shells, stamp, licences, and camo. The most important thing you need to have is.........PATIENCE!!! you wait sometimes for hours before you even see a goose sometimes. And be still in the blind when they come, Happy Huntin;)

Loveland is very close to some great hunting. I wuold recommend six floaters and six full bodies, then hit some of the State Game Areas along the Poudre and the South Platte. I actually live in Noorthern New Mexico, but try to get up there and western Nebraska frequently during the season.

wow those are some pretty good prices on those wyoming hunts. that's something that i may have to keep in mind.

about actual goose hunting i've never done it either. if i can find a spot i may try it but i don't know where i would go if i were doing it myself without a guide.
