RE: sinlge reed or double reed

basically a double reed is an easier call to blow. most people that want a real easy blowing call that sounds decent buy a double reed. a single reed is a more versatile call. it sounds alot better and you can do more with it. it has great bottom end and is the only call to use for those hails and highballs. i blow in contest and in the field and my choice is single. it takes a little more time to figure out but it is a better sounding call.
