I'd have to throw in for duck hunting over water. The experince seems to have so many different levels of enjoyment. I can think of no more alive place to be than on a marsh at sun rise. The whisle of wings in the pre dawn. Large flocks of divers with cupped wings coming down to decoy. My father introduced me to waterfowling when I was four, and I have never found anything that thrills me so, in a life time afield with rod or gun. Only nine more months untill the opener.

I'm leaving tonight for the Oregon Coast to hunt the last weekend of our season. I have family down there and they all told me theres thousands of ducks.
Gonna go pour some steel through the ol 870 and wreck a few.

Wejust go where the birds go. We do some scouting before hand and take it from there. We do hunt most of our geese over grain fields though and with ducks, it doesn`t matter to us, either will do(water or fields)
