Waterfowl Choke
I jsut got a 3.5" Browning Gold and I'm looking for an aftermarket choke that patterns well. I want something that is full or extra full. I've been thinking about a duck commander choke a kicks choek or a pattern master. Anybody got an favorites. I shoot mostly 2 steel shot, but I sometime use BB when geese are around.

I have been shooting a super X 2 for years with the factory "Full" choke.

I didn't mind the factory choke on my remington, but browning says to not use steel with the full because the pattern will blow out.

Congrats on the Browing Gold 3 1/2. I have had mine for 4 years now and couldn't be happier. As far as chokes are concerned, the Dealer informed me theonly way that I could improve my Browning would be to get a Briley choke. I bought the Modified Invector Plus Ported wich actually shoots full with steel shot. You won'tfind a better
choke. www.briley.com |

RE: Waterfowl Choke
If you go with any of the ported chokes like PatternMaster, keep in mind they are much louder. Something to keep in mind and a concern with deafness in dogs if you hunt with one.
