Today when we were huntinga big marsh we had like 10 geese come in and me and my buddy picked one out and shot at it six times we know we nailed it like 3 times casue it showed impact why dident it die

probally casue i was useing 4 shot

what shot and what choke should i use

Patteren in your guns before hunting .
I would use IC or Mod with Steel BB or BBB
With Hevi shot IC or Mod #4 for decoying geese and #2 for all shooting

Some use #2 steel , but I have seen to many Canadian geese fly away only to die later if you don't brake a wing

i agree with johnch bb works well and IC for geese

In the past we have used BB-BBB for geese. And kept our modified chokes in also. These are both very effective when hunting geese.
