Which gun do you think is the best overall for waterfowl hunting?

I think the Benelli can handle a lot of things.

I personally like the Benelli Nova and also the stoeger p350, Great guns for me so far.

I shoot a remington 870 SPS supermag I love it, but I would get the 11-87 if I had unlimited means.

my 870 works wonders to! But if i had a choice for pumpsi'd go with the nova. Semi autos id go with the browning A-5:)

i had a winchester super x2 and had more problems with it than any other gun i have owned. I recently trade it in and got a new super black eagle, and absolutly love it, wish i would have had it all of these years

SBE 2 is sweet, but I like my moss 935 and benelli nova for now!

I had a Winchester 1300 but it got stolen, now i have a Charles Daily i like it ok.

WOW there are as many opions of shotguns as Pick-ups, which is better Ford, Chevy or Dodge? Benelli, Browning or Winchester? It is all a matter of opinion and what has been successful or worked for others. I see that someone had a bad experience with a Winchester super x 2 Mine has worked well for mefor 6 years with zero problems so in my opinion it is the best shotgun made just as the Benelli is for someone else! JUST MY OPINION

Make mine an O/U if you please. I shot a BL -4 for 8 years until it was stolen ,nowI'm shooting Browning Lightning with 28" barrels for the last 16 years for 99% of all my hunting and clays.

Super Black Eagle I and II are my favorites, theyre perfect in speed and capabilities for any hunting situation.

Ive tried using an over/under for ducks and it does fine but halfway thru the mornin u will miss ur benelli its just so much freakin faster. By the way i am with u all the way on the benelli stuff i love all the ones ive ever had.nice signature too man.

Nova for me.

Its hard to beat a good ole' 870 for a pump though.

Most won't bring an O/U waterfowling because they think it's a price thing. They'll spend 1000 on an autoloader but a shotgun that cost 2-400 more they get qeasy.
They real reason IMHO is an overall lack of waterfowling skills. Most today think they need 3 or 3 1/2" loads. There is nothing that feels and handles as good as a O/U that fits. With 2 3/4 " loads that pattern properly and the knowledge and skill to bring birds in over the decoys there's no reason not to use an O/U

O/U's are pimp. Out of my price range at the moment. I'd love to have one for doves though...

I own a Stoeger Condor Combo Supreme. It has both the 12 gauge and the 20 gauge barrels. It also has screw in chokes and will take 3" shells. I paid just over $600.00 for it. For the money, you can't beat it. I know it isn't a Binelli, Baretta, Browning or a Ruger, but it shoots pretty sweet for the money. I really like it. Stoeger has O/U's starting at $350.00.

I also have a Berretta 390 that I use for ducks quite a bit. The O/U seems to fit me better though. The 390 LOP is just a tiny bit longer than the Stoeger.

I have never shot a Beretta before. I heard they're pretty decent guns.

I use my Ruger Red Label, I like the ability to have two chokes to choose from before taking my shot. On real nasty days I will take my Winchester 1400 Autoloader, lately she has been jamming, I think shes pissed as she usally sits in the cabinet.

I've used many different brands and models through the years. The A5 has been my favorite so far....but my new Mossberg 935 is catching up pretty quick. It throws awesome patterns and has been VERY reliable. I'd reccomend this gun to anybody who's serious about waterfowling!!!

My friend had a Mossberg and his choke messed up. It basically shriveled into pieces. Now he's got a Benelli Nova. Has this ever happened to your chokes?

I've used the A-5 for years! I like a shotgun that you can load from the bottom. I put shells inbetween my fingers in the left hand and as Ishoot, I shove one in.This keeps me legal with 3 in the magazine and three inbetween my fingers. Total of six and 6 more in my vest pocket!
