Unless I'm missing something, (inside joke perhaps??) both of those birds are drakes......the one on the left just doesn't have his colors yet.

Thanks! I'm not sure exactly what the contest entails....I'll have to read up.
That picture is one of the limits that we took this year. It was the best picture by far because it was the only day we took 5 different species of duck, and the only day I remembered to bring the camera on the water!! Every other picture I have is at the truck or the house.
