Hunt as a team, sometimes you can tell what you shot and sometimes not. As long as you work together and spank all that light you had a good hunt. This year me and Jason spanked an entire 6 bird flock. Then a 4 and another double. Shot a goose to finish it off. Wish we had it on video cause it was the bomb that day.

If your using a 12guage wich you probly are, i would go with #4. Youm dont need big shells to drop ducks.

I use 2 3/4 in #4's for the early season hunting then I switch to #2's on the late season birds. If you find the right choke for the load you are using,2 3/4 in shells is all you should need for ducks over decoys.
I shoot a full choke. This helps for when you miss judge the range. I have a pretty good pattern out to 40 yards.
