Same here I really can't tell the differences, but like anything ells, if you think it helps, confidence is everything.

i heard it was composed of 25% tungsten and 75% steel. its still alot of steel but id think that that tungsten would have to make a difference. i guess ill find out, but unfortunately season dont open till thanksgiving.

If you are refering to rem's heavy shot I have used it and wont hunt with anything else anymore. Yes they are expensive However if you reload Like me it cuts the cost down to about $14.00 for 25 rounds Much better than the full cost at the stores. I have bagged more birds using it than anything Including geese

Hunt Genious,

Where do you get your supplies for reloading? I looked into reloading the Hevi-Shot breifly, but saw the costs coming out much closer to what you can get the Remington loads for ($ 17 - 20 for a box of 10).

How are you coming out at $ 14 for a box of 25?

Thanks,

Dan
