I'm shooting 3.5" at ducks and geese out of an 870 and the recoil really isnt that bad to me anyway. I have the remington R3 recoil pad on there, and it came with the gun.

I just bought a Mossy 935 this season and have had no trouble with recoil at all....even with the 3.5" loads.The kick is no worse than shooting a 3" out of a pump gun.

my ex girlfriend would shoot 3.5mags out of my browning gold and beg to shoot it again, and she was 4'11'' and about 100 pounds i guess.
