GOOSE & DUCK HUNTING IN WISCONSIN

JUST LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY GOOSE & DUCK HUNTERS HERE IN HUNTINGNET.COM ARE FROM SOUTHERN WISCONSIN, AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW YOU DID OPENING DAY FOR GOOSE. WE GOT 2 ON SATURDAY AND 1 ON SUNDAY. IT WAS RAINING PRETTY HARD ON SUNDAY MORNING DOWN HERE BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP THE GEESE OR DUCKS FROM FLYING. IT LOOKS PRETTY GOOD FOR OPENING DAY DUCK HUNTING NEXT WEEK. WOOD DUCKS & BW.GW.TEAL ARE ALL ON THE MOVE DOWN HERE, FLOCKS OF 50 TO 60 BIRDS IN EACH FLOCK. MALLARDS ARE PLENTYFUL SOME WIDGEONS & GADWALLS AS WELL. LOOKS GOOD FOR ROCK COUNTY IN SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WATERFOWL HUNTERS OUT THERE THIS SEASON.

Saw about 200 geese in large flocks coming in off the fields opening day. But nothing would bust out to my dekes, but the duck and goose population looks good.

I missed 2 hen mallards. I'm only 14 and this was my first year but when the southern zone opens i'll get more experiance. I'm not sure about the weather because I came back from up north yesterday. My dad doesn't hunt so i need to try and find a place to go thats sort of close. Do you know any places around upper waukesha county???

glad to have a junior hunter with us. do you have a duck or a goose call and if so what make is it. i use a buck gardner duck call& a illusion goose call i like them the best for the price all i can tall you on public hunting spots in waukesha county is go to hunting maps and look for spots you can hunt waterfowl.or find some birds and follow them and then find a spot in their flight path .always ask permission before entering farmers land it is important for you to get a hunting partner.i say this because sometimes you can get in to a situation where you need help . good luck on your waterfowl hunting this year.
