What Birds count for the contest???
 

Is the contest limited to Ducks and Geese? What about Brant, Sea Ducks (Scotters) Mergansers and Swans?? Sorry for being pain.

I would doubt that we're counting snipe, mudhens/coots, but could be wrong.

Yeah I was wondering bout coots too. I shoot them everyonce in a while (yes I eat them) so wondering if they count??

I think we will have to count them as they are considered "waterfowl" and have seasons and bag limits established

In ND we can shoot 15 coots per day - which would be EXTREMELY easy. They're everywhere. Are they that plentiful all over? I won't be shooting any, but 5 days limiting out on Canadas counts the same as a 5 minute coot shoot? Oh well......

We will count coots seperately.....but I feel it necessary to count them in the contest as they are a legal waterfowl...
