wow! team 8. idolizing me like this! i cant believe it....i know im a killin machine but never thought id get a team named after me! maybe you could incorperate my dog in the name as well, DRAKE. haha just givin ya guys some crap...good luck...

Howdy guys!! Back from NM elkless, but oh well. I finally got out to do some bird hunting! Went for geese and to try my layout blind, but didn't do so hot. I did go out after work to a place close to work that's in the northern zone here in Wisconsin, and shot two mallards, a blue wing and a goose!! It was awesome, I should have got a limit but the first mallard was a hen, and I had to pass on about four or five flocks!! They were everywhere!!! Can't wait to go out again, hopefully Thursday. I went out yesterday morning for the southern opener here and never shot the gun!!! It was terrible!! I did go this morning and managed to harvest a mallard drake at a different spot. It was also the first retrieve for Bailey, my lab.It was funny, because he wasn't 100% about what to do, but after he finally got it,I threw itout a couple of times and he had no problems, but didn't want to stop!!! Can't wait for the next hunt with him.I also shot a goose Wednesday night, but no more ducks to boot.

2 more geese this morning. Anyone else on the team having any luck? How are the duck numbers in your area? There's a lot of geese around central Wisconsin, and I saw a few mallards also. I will be out after ducks hopefully this week but if not this weekend.
