man you guys are lucky. my season doesnt open till thanksgiving. then its only in for three days and then it comes back in on december 6th. i gotta find somethin to do till then, they should have more du banquets around here lol.

In less than a week, I will be sitting in my buddies new Grizzly blind boat in the middle of clear lake with a mix of honker and puddler dekes around....listening to thethe heerrrrrronk of birds in the distance and the rocketlike whisle of wings as they whiz by in the predawn, waiting and looking for the first birds of duck season 2005 to try us after shooting hours begins, I can almost hear the sounds, smell the smells, and see the sights!!!! 6 DAYS and Counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got some more good news for my hunting season. one of my buddy's said that if i come out to his huntin lodge and help clean out there old one and just help out around the new lodge and the pit that i can hunt with him for free this year. so when my dad doesnt wanna go huntin on the river i got a pit to hunt out of now. o i almost forgot, they have the biggest pit around my area of where i live. its almost 1000 sq. ft. its crazy!!!!

We had two Eliminators that morning in the field. The rest of us were in ghillie suits.

This AM was crappy but still picked up a goose and a nice drake woody!!! Bowhunting tonight and then I will be out for waterfowl in the am again!!
