BUY IT!!! I have had one for 5 years and it's the BEST shotgun I have ever owned, maybe as good as when the 1100 first came out with the 3" Magnum. Within the last 5 years all my buddies have either switch or had theirs put in the shop, We hunt some Rough Cold Muddy stuff and mine has held up! and shoots like a champ! Not saying it didn't need to be broke down and cleaned but I am pleased and would buy anotherin a minute but havn't needed to yet.

The 870 and 1100 Remingtons will go down as two of the best Shotguns ever made it is scary to think how many have been sold. I shot my first deer with an 870 25 years ago (My Dads) I own an 870 20 gauge and 2 1100's 12 gauges and I won't depart with any of them.

I was told by a friend that the Winchester has some pretty good kick to it. I dont know if that is true or not.

The SX2 is a very good gun. The are well made and very reliable. It shares the same gas systemas the Browning Gold. It's a pretty easy gun to clean. Even the recoil/action spring in the stock is easy to take apart to clean. This model has a pretty high rib that some like and some don't.
My best buddy has a 3 1/2" that has had only one jam in the last five to six years. It even cycles 1oz loads all day long. Because the gun is a gas operatedsemi and weighs about 7 3/4 lbs.. recoil should be mild as long as it fits you well. Turkey loads ina 3 1/2" shell are not mild in any gun, but less painfull in some like the SX2 and others.
Both the Winchester SX2's and Browning Gold's have a $100.00 rebate untill the end of November.
