In Michigan we are permitted to take 6 with exceptions to species and sex. Some species have different seasons than the others.

Here in OK. we can take six, only five if they are all mallards, only two mallard hens, I think only one redhead, woodie,or hooded merganser drake per day. Check your local sporting goods store a little closer to season they should have updated waterfowl regulations out for the public.

6 ducks in Illinois this year. Our state axed the canvasbacks and pintails this year and set a one suzy limit.

6 each in MN. But each species has it's own limit basically. Except Can's of course cause you can't shoot any of them.

8 per day 24 in possession any species any sex in Alaska
3 geese per day 9 on hand 3 swans per season by permit(not in all AK areas)

6 DUCKS, daily limit, in Mn .. 4 mallards, no more than 2 hens. NO CANS! 1 pintail, (if you see one!!) 2 woodies, only one hen. 2 redheads, 1 black duck, (or gadwall) 3 scaup, ... If you shoot a swan, lookout!! For not only the law, but the locals!! We have higher limits when it comes to geese!! There are too many in the parks, and golf courses and football fields, in the wheat and bean fields, ect, ect, ect... sept and dec season, open to Mn residents only, daily limit is 5 with 10 possession.

Its a 6 duck total limit in Ontario. Allowed any combination of,, 1 black, 4 cans, 4 redheads, 6 either sex for every other species. (Except Harlequins, big no no!) been so-so for the first week, seeing lots of woodducks!

Washington State;
7 ducks, no more than 2 hen mallards, 1 pintail, 2 redhead, 4 scaup, 1 harlequin, 4 scooters, and 4 oldsquaws. Canvasbacks are closed.

Possession limit is double that except only 1 harlequin.

5 ducks here in arkansas 3 can be mallards only one can be a hen.
