Looking for Colorado cow hunt

I am looking for a DIY access hunt anywhere from Denver to Fairplay along 285.Will consider all seasons but probably prefer Late hunt 1/17.I am from Iowa maybe a possible whitetail swap. I'm 55 y/o and I've been on 3 elk hunt's and been skunked.On my bucket list.
