RE: Wisconsin land anybody???
It may not be too unrealistic. I paid 1300 an acre for some nice forested bottomland in southern Illinois. Logged over land goes for about 1000-1100 an acre. Once you get well away from urban and agricultural areas up there, you might find cheaper land. Or maybe not.Now I am curious about what decent hunting ground would cost up there.

RE: Wisconsin land anybody???
I live around Buffalo and Tremp. county and the land is selling for a minimum of $2000.00 an acre. Some of it is going for around $3500.00 an acre. I do not know where people can come up with this kind of money to buy land to hunt deer on it? But I know this, I will not be buying any soon at these prices!!
People are leasing land around here for like $25-$50 an acre. That is also crazy and I couldn't afford to lease for $10 an acre. I have a hard enough time affording to hunt!! Just putting my 2 cent in. Everyone have a Merry Christmas!!! |

If you are interested in coming to Oklahoma, I can find you some land for $5-$12 an acre depending on the amount of land and where it is located. Most people believe Oklahoma isn't a good deer hunting state, but in all actuality it is. You just need to know where to hunt, and that is when i can prove to be great help. If anyone is interested in leasing in Oklahoma they can call (405) 742-2893. |
