why not a lever action 308???/

am curious to know why nobody offers a lever action 308? or any other big calibers in lever action

I have a Belgium Browning in 308 and am looking for a Savage 99 in the same. I may settle for a Savage 99 in 300 Savage in a local shop

Browning offers the BLR in .308 & .30/06.

(I just bought a .30/06)
