Camera for filming hunts
I'm looking to get a new camera to film hunts, mainly deer and maybe some waterfowl. I've done a lot of research and don't know if I want a camcorder or bridge camera. Budget is around $1000.
Things I think are important: good in lowlight conditions, at least 20x optical zoom, decent battery life, good video quality, and mount for external microphone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, TxAg15 |
Look into the Sony AX53. It's a pretty solid camera, and comes in at around $850. I use a Canon XA10, but plan on switching over too the Sony AX100 here shortly.

Campbell camers has a good beginning setup for about $700 includes a canon camera and tree arm with other gear as well...this is what i'll be using as my starting gear.

The little Sony AX53 has served me well in the time I have owned it. The BOSS system works extremely well
