Sony handy cam

This is will be my first year trying to film. I got a sony handy cam off a buddy. Just seeing if anyone else uses a handy cam. And good tips for use the cam.

I use one. Don't have any real tips except the obvious. Practice with it, and become very familiar with the functions so that you can capture action. That and hold it steady. I did buy a larger battery which really helps.

Have fun.

I have sony handycam and it has really great features . The Sony Handycam is a small handheld camcorder that offers a slew of capabilities, including night vision, high-definition picture quality and memory hard drive. Use night vision to record or take pictures in darkness.

I use one also. Just be aware that while filming while zoomed in, you will need a steady rest or it will be shaky.

Pretty good camera in my opinion if money is an issue.

I put together a little video trailer in another thread. Most of the good, clear footage was with the handy cam, some was with a GoPro.
