Muddy Outfitter Tree Arm
 

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone out there has the Fancier FT-717 fluid head that they were able to use on the Muddy Outfitter. I have seen a lot of posts regarding the Manfrotto 701 as a good fluid head for this tree arm but I hate to buy another fluid head.
Also, wondering if anyone is using the NX5 (or a camera of similar weight) with this tree arm. I know the specs say 10 lbs max for this arm but once I get my camera, fluid head and shotgun mic on, I'm afraid I'm going to be pushing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
