I have a question and I bet you are the group to have an answer for me. Our property overlooks a marsh with a creek running through it and emptying into the Chickahominy river. I want to place a video camera out on the creek where I can watch in real time what comes and goes from the comfort of my house. So I am looking for an affordable system, under $800 total cost, video + infrared (I don’t want still camera), that I can put out there. The area is between 600’-1000’ from house depending. The only one so far I have been looking at is the Gamescout.

Suggestions?

Try these guys. Their customer service is great. Call them up, speak to a CS rep and tell them what you're looking for and they will offer you suggestions. Good luck.
