Default I need editing software...

I'm just gettin into filming my hunts and id like to get some kind of editing software to make little videos of my hunts. Does anyone know anykind of software thats not ridiculously expensive that i can play around on until i get good and get the good cameras and all that jazz?

Buckmaster, Take a look at the Kodak Playsport, the video camera is waterproof and contains easy to use software for editing. I work for Kodak, but am not a marketing person. I am actually a computer jockey. Just happen to like the product. The Base Playsport is about $130.00 +/- and the bundle is about $250.00 +/-. I am currently working on a bowmount for the Playsport. Should be fun to video my own hunts.

I've used several different programs. I'm currently using Video Studio pro x2 but pro x3 is out now. Its fairly user friendly and just a step under the pro stuff. Id recommend downloading several different programs for a test drive and pick from there. Thats what I did. Almost all have a 30 day free trial.
Hope this helps ! ...Lee

How does free grab you? Open source video editor.

http://www.openmovieeditor.org/
and here's the direct link to the windows version

I've not used this so can't comment on it but I'm a big fan of open source software. If you use it let me know what you think.

Here's a link to a bunch of other ones

Free open source is safe, free closed source may or may not be safe.
