Canon GL2
 

Hey guys i bought a gl2 to film some of my hunts this year as well as velvet footage and have noticed that when i power on that the cam makes an audible motor noise. I believe its the heads aligning or something, just wondering if anyone else has used this cam and if this is a known issue?

The noise that you hear when you power the camera up is normal. It is the camera streching the tape over the heads. There is nothing that I know of that you can do to eliminate this noise.
