Default How to stop the howling of wind in video?

I have a sony handycam dcr-sr85. I can get a shotgun mic for my camera but I don't think it has anything on it such as a fur material that will help stop the sound of the wind howling or whistling in my video. Does anybody have an idea of a way that I can rig something up or tape some felt over the mic that will help stop the noise from the wind?

Thanks,
Kash

Don't know if this one fits "your" mic though.
