Caught on Tape
 

This was footage I got while archery hunting the morning 10.4.08. I shot a doe and then a buck came in but couldn't get a shot, he was just too far away. The footage is pretty clean and I managed to get the shot on tape. The 8pt I saw the same evening.

Pretty cool! It sounds like it was raining pretty hard to have a camera out there, but it paid off. Is that Fox Chapel right outside of Pittsburgh?

Thanks it was fun. It was raining a little that day but I had my umbrella around the tree so the camera and I stayed totally dry. Yes, Fox Chapel right outside of Pittsburgh is where this was filmed. I have been hunting that area for a about 10 years and it always produces a lot of deer. I hunt on 6 private acres and the landowner's house is pretty much all that's in the vicinity.

That was cool! I'm still a little nervous about taking my camera in the rain. Need to invest in a better camera cover!
