Wireles Lapel mics
Do any of you guys use wireless lapel mics? If so what brand do you use, If I purchase an XL1S I'm seriously considering getting the lapel mic setup so I can get audio from the hunter without him having to talk loudly or turn and face the camera.

RE: Wireles Lapel mics
If you are on a budget Azden makes some inexpensive models ($150, or less on ebay)...........if you have $500 to spend though go with a UHF set-up from either Azden or Sennhieser.

RE: Wireles Lapel mics
I picked up a Sennheiser G2 last week and they are incredible. Expensive though. If you're looking for cheaper check out what Lungbuster suggested.
If your wanting to get high quality footage its not only the camera that is important, the audio is very important as well. |
RE: Wireles Lapel mics
I just got my sennheiser in the mail yesterday and havenm't had time to fool with it much. The show I'll be filming for this fall requires wireless mics, HD and 24p. Gonna be a steep learning curve, hopefully I'm up to the task!
