Raw Footage.

Everyone will sign a release saying we get the Rights to use the footage...then we could make a copy or send original copy back.

We need to set a date to have the video submitted by. I know each state has different ending dates and such. Here in Illinois, bow season is until the middle of Jan.

I have a video of my First attempt with just a Sony Video camera of a 8 pointer I shot back 03.
My brother killed on about 45 minutes prior to that from the same stand.
I am trying to upload it right now to youtube.

I would sendmyfootagein,but I need my footage for Smoke Broad heads, if I can't keep the rights to the footage I guess I won't submit it.

Yea we might need to talk a few things over about who has the rights to what, because i don't know if i want to give up the rights to my film or not either.

What is all this "give up my rights" stuff? What are you guys afraid of? That someone is going to become a millionaire by producing avideo from a bunch of amateurs and you'll be left out? Whoever is needs it, you can have my rights.

I think what they are afraid of is someone else taking "exclusive" rights to thier footage, which basically means they can never use thier footage again............I would think for what you are trying to accomplish here, it would be just as well to allow the use of your footage, but not have to sign over all rights..........................I think that is what Chase meant anyway, I don't think he was asking for exclusive rights, just a waiver to be able to use everyone's footage.;)
