Do you want something free or a site that you have to pay for.........there are all kinds of free server hosts and most have an easy editor built into the program............if you chose a html editor you will want microsoft Frontpage or something similiar.

Good luck!

You better learn to do your own website or it's going to cost you some money! Even for something very basic you'll be looking at probably anywhere from $500-$1000, plus hosting and update fees. You could learn to do your own and use Adobe Dreamweaver in conjunction with Photoshop, Flash, etc. and you could buy and download a premade website template and redo it to fit your needs, but that is expensive as well, the software will cost you some money and the templates are about $60-$120 each.

Yeah, we figured that out with Max'd Out. Running a website is going to be expensive. We have plans to ditch the piczo site as soon as possible and build our own. I have a friend that is going to sell me a copy of Dreamweaver for CHEAP. I hope I am smart enough to figure out how to design the website!!!!!:D

The piczo site has been a good learning experience for us. We kinda got the feel of a website from it, and it didn't cost us anything either. Now we are getting ready to move on!!!!

Hi Rory,

I use a mac and have a .mac subscription. As soon as my new Mac gets here I can use that for our basic site www.twoguysoutdoors.com , we already bought our website name from go daddy. A friend of mine works at a company called rackspace and will be doing a lot for us once we get more comfortable with what we are doing. I am not familiar with other (microsoft) products, but lungbusters deal is a heck of a starting place. That is probably the best advice so far.

Check out:
www.coffecup.com

They have some great software very well suited for beginners. Specifically, check out the "Visual Site Designer" software. You can even download and try it for free before buying. You can purchase just the programs you need and they all dove tail nicely with each other. I used the program to create my site:
