RE: backround music

Do a google search on "Stock Music". There are 1,001 websites out there that sell stock (royalty free) music in a billion styles and configurations.

This is how we buy music for our videos. We get an edit completed to the point where we have a "feel" for the scene. We then watch and listen to different samples (for free) online, and make decisions what we like - what works for different scenes. Just takes a TON of time to find the right sound and feel for a particular scene.

Isn't that the truth WKP!! ;) Do you use any of the Digital Juice Backtraxx or Stacktraxx? You can manipulate the music as well and create different effects or timing on percussions, etc. Really works well to make the music fit to what you need. ;)

AWESOME THREAD!

I'm doing a lot of video work now just for fun, but was worried what I was going to do if/when I wanted to sell some stuff or produce for clients. I tried making a few contacts to go about getting permission to use a few of my favorite tunes but it's a HASSLE! This seems like a much more appropriate way to go.

For our first video - "Beyond the Kill" we composed everything ourselves from Loops. We realized it took FAR too long for our very short editing deadlines. Stock music worked far better for us. Just took tons of time to search for the right ones.
