Hey from AK

I just found these forums the other day. There aren't too many hunting sites that have videography sections, so this is pretty cool.
I live in Alaska and shoot a lot of video, mostly has been a hobby, but that's changing now. I'll be filming a brown bear bow hunt this spring, can't wait.
My camera is a Panasonic dvx 100b and I edit on a 2 month old Mac Pro with Final Cut Studio.

Thanks for the welcome.
Do you shoot any 24p stuff while out in the field, or are you sticking with 60i? Just curious. I've been playing with my camera using different settings in 24p. Awesome camera!

RE: Hey from AK

I had original thought I would shoot outdoor footage in 30p until I realized it sucks in low light.........I do shoot some b-roll (interveiws and such) in 30p but for the in the feild stuff it is all 60i.

Stick with either 30p or 60I for outdoor work.
The conversion of 24p has to much motion artifact for outdoor sports/videography. The extrapolation of the video to broadcast doesn't work well.
