What is the best "mode" to record a bow hunt with a DVX-100B?

I just bought an AGDVX-100B and was wondering what would be the best mode torecord a deer/bow hunt. 24p, 30p, or 60i? I will experiment with these different modes before I actually record a hunt. I was just wondering if anyone had anyadvice as of what mode to use.

Thanks,
Mike

Stick w\ 30p or 60i.
The camera will extrapolate the frame rate better for editing and transfer to other formats\frame rates at these 2 than anything else.
If you shoot at lower frame rates your motion control when digitizing or transfer to your computer will create 'motion artifacts' that will drive you crazy, especially if you aren't using the correct shutter speed.
As big as 24p is in the film world it just doesn't translate to regular tv broadcasting.
I know in your model camera if you set it up for 24 you have more 'color control' with skin tones, blacks, and highlights
but it's unnecessary for tv broadcast.

Nice camera congrats! I use the DVX100p which is the earlier version of that camera, i originally thought I would shoot in 30p when i bought the camera, but in low light 30p SUCKS(all progressive sucks in low light).........I have shot everything this year in 60i and I really like the resulting footage. That is a great camera I'm sure you will like it...........get to know all of it's controls intimately and it will do well for you.

What type of "camera tree mount" would you recommend? I really don't want to spend a ton of money... No more than $50-$60.......I was looking at the "Gorilla Camera Arm", Whatare your thoughts onthis model? What would you say would be the best least expensive regular tripod I could get for this camera?

For the weight of that camera, that arm isn't going to work very well.....................but to purchase a "good" arm that will support it's weight, expect to pay anywhere from $275-800.
