What ways?
 

What are the best ways to hunt for grouse and quail without a dog. I can't get a dog so that is out of the picture. I will be hunting in VA so if there is anyone that knows some great places to try tell him. I will usually be hunting with aleast two people.

The thing is I don't know anyone that does have a dog for bird hunting. All my friends that hunt either do deer, squirel, turkey, and some dove hunting. I guess I could ask around for people with dogs that i could hunt with. Would that be the best way?

The best way to meet people to hunt with is proably through this web site. Look for people hunting in your area and start asking questions. Good hunting.
