PA Grouse

Hey PA hunters, I have a hunt planned over the Xmas break up in PA. My cousin and I are going up to Indiana, PA to hunt grouse. What are the bird numbers like this time of year? Thanks

RE: PA Grouse

I haven't had the chance to hunt much this year, however according to the Game Commission, the numbers are very good this year. I haven't had much success hunting pheasant around Westmoreland County and will be switching to hunting Grouse myself after Christmas. Good luck as it seems like it's going to be well below normal temps this year. Already seeing many January type days before the end of the year.
