Default what do u prefer modified, or improved cylinder?

I read that for doves you should use an improved cylinder because u get a better pattern for the doves than u would with a modified, what do you all think? And what load will you be using for doves this year?

I use skeet in my top barrel and improved in the bottom. I'll be shooting an 1 1/8 ounce of 7 1/2 and 8's. It's what works for me, but there are guys who shoot skeet, full and everything in between with excellent sucess. To each his own.
