Bird Hunting in Idaho

Any one got any tips for hunting birds in Idaho? Just moved here from Missouri(Air Force) and when you go bird hunting there it's for a 22lb, 12 inch, gobbler. I know there's some here, but not many. I'm looking to fill my gut up with pheasent and quail. Where is there a good place to go besides C. J. Strike Wildlife Man. Area? Oh yeah just got a 4 yr. old yellow lab as a hunting partner. Thanks.

RE: Bird Hunting in Idaho

I have pheasant hunted in the South Central part of Idaho. 30 miles from the Utah border for pheasants and rabbits and almost any public land near a farm works great. My dad and I both limited out after 2 hours.
