I had a grouse "knock" me clean onto my butt a few years back. This thing flew up right under my feet and right up past my face. Down I went. Luckily no one was around to witness that one.

I had a pheasant knock my hat off a couple of years ago. My setter was on point in some high grass and I was in front of her trying to find it and out it went straight up in front of my face and took my hat off my head. I did manage to recover and kill it but it scared the crap out of me.
