Dove Field?

A buddy of mine has a seven acre dove field that he takes his clients on to shoot. What does he probably have planted that attracts dove (or any birds) to this field?

Sunflowers? They were hot spots in Texas.

Could be anything really. Where I hunt they love the cut corn fields, but I've heard of people plant different things like sunflowers, millet, wheat and even rice.

sorghum and sunflowers are heaven for doves. Any field with some close fence rows/power lines will attract doves.

Why not just ask your friend?

croton seeds are a huge attraction for doves in south Texas
