Anyone with knowledge of which county in Ohio has a good population of Quail?

Supposed to be good Quail and Pheasant at Rush Run but every time I go there are too many people to do a decent flush. Would be a nice place to hunt in the middle of the week.

It's pretty unlikely you will find more than the rare covey in Ohio anymore. It's not out of the question, but you'll have to be very lucky or you'll have to do a lot of walking.

I live in Virginia, which used to be a great quail hunting state. Not anymore. I can't recall the last time I found a wild covey. Some farms in my region have a few, but they are typically owned by folks who spend a lot of money and time managing specifically for quail.

I turned 250 loose at my house by "accident" a couple years ago. They're the only ones I've seen in years.

thanks for the responces. Fishguts, I have jumped a covey here and there so there are some left in Ohio, Not many granted but there are some quail. Pro-line and Ohio Novice check your PM'S
