recently bought a dove call at the local sporting goods store. anybody ever have success with one of these. if so what is the call pattern.

I don't believe anyone I have everknown has ever used one. Decoys, yes.
But, if it is realistic, it is a very pleasant noise.

I've never heard a commercial dove call before but I can whistle like a dove and I called in the last two I shot last night. If this dove call sounds anything like a dove, it can definitely work.
