Default choke

I would guess ic or modified, and 7 1/2 shot but you should really pattern it around 25 yds and see which one patterns best with your shot and your shotgun.

I usually start with a mod using 7 1/2 shells. I carry an improved and full choke. I just change the choke as the shooting dictates. I am hoping for a great opening day tomorrow.

I usually stick with a modified choke and 7-1/2 shot. A full choke might be better for my area though, but I'm just sure that the moment I change it, the birds will start coming in close and fast!

Personally, I used an Improved Cylinder or Skeet choke...it's always worked great for me!!

i use a mod and this is the first year ive ever used no 9s those of you that use 7 1/2,
try 9s once u would be surprised the results,,,i was amazed how good they worked ,,,all the guys i went with ,,,said u wont kill any with them ,,but the jokes on them i was the only one in the feild that walk out with a limit by 7:45 and waited 2.5 hrs for them to get done. and not all shots were under 25 yrd some were over 40yrd

Started with my 20 SXS with skeet chokes and they were laughing at me.

So I switched to my 12 gauge with an IC in the bottom and Mod on top.

Limited out using #8 shot.
