South Dakota

Leaving tomarrow for South Dakota to pheasant hunt in the Webster SD area (Day County). I Have a couple questions. First hows the hunting? Where are the farmers at as far as getting the crops out? Also, how is the weather?

Thanks

RE: South Dakota

Well we are in a blizzard warning here for today and tomorrow, so it will be a little rough out here during that time. After the storm, the sun is supposed to shine, so I would imagine the hunting will be pretty good, I am going to watch the weather and maybe go out bowhunting Saturday morning. If the snow sticks, you will see thousands of birds on saturday. There is a lot of corn still standing, I haven't been through Webster in a few weeks, but I think they are probably right around half done with the corn harvest. If you have private land to hunt, you should be walking the corn strips..

Thanks, getting ready to head out now. Looks like there is quite a bit of snow.
